Advisory and Finance Committee vacancy

PLYMOUTH – The town moderator of Plymouth invites citizens to submit letters of interest for the following vacancy which exists on the Advisory and Finance Committee. He also hopes to collect names of those interested in case any additional vacancies occur during the year.
Remaining term beginning July 1, 2022, and expires on June 30, 2024.
Such letters should be submitted no later than 5 p.m. Monday, June 20, 2022. The appointments will be made on or before June 30, 2022.
The Advisory and Finance Committee meets at 7 p.m. on the third Wednesday of each month and more frequently when special or annual Town Meetings are planned. There are 15 members who serve without compensation and may not hold any other elected or paid town position during their term on the committee.
The Finance Committee considers any and all municipal questions for the purpose of making reports and recommendations to the Town Meeting. The Finance Committee may on occasion approve transfers from the Reserve Fund Account to various departments experiencing unforeseen or unusual expenditures and End of Year Appropriations which cannot be addressed through normal appropriations.
