Positions are available for RNs, LPNs, home health aides, respiratory therapists and home equipment delivery drivers.
In a news release, Mercy Health said the positions offer “competitive pay scales, work-life balance, support to grow in an employee’s career and resources to do so.”
Candidates are asked to bring multiple copies of their resume and be prepared to interview.
Qualifying professionals will also qualify for sign-on incentives, the release states.
Akron Children’s Hospital opens Quick Care center in Austintown
The center is “a convenient option for kids’ minor illnesses and injuries,” a news release states.
The center is open from noon to 8 p.m. Monday through Friday and 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Saturday and Sunday. Appointments are recommended and can be scheduled here.
Quick Care offers testing for patients who have symptoms possibly related to COVID-19. However, testing is not available for patients without symptoms who are seeking sports, school, work or day care clearance, the release states.
Boardman Civic Association announces 2022 event schedule
The Boardman Civic Association on Thursday announced the schedule for its 2022 events.
The Scholarship Awards Dinner is scheduled for May 16; the Candidates and Issues Dinner will take place Sept. 19; and the Community Awards Dinner is set for Oct. 17.
The organization also announced that it will maintain its current officers for the year. The re-elected officers are Tommy Testa, president; Meg Harris, vice president; Mark Luke, secretary; and Jeff Barone, treasurer.
Makenna Ozenghar, vice president of client service at Farris Marketing, has joined the organization’s board of directors.
