In the wake of New Jersey’s cannabis regulatory body approving 81 new licenses las week for cultivation, manufacturing and retail, the industry is abuzz with the opportunity for new entrepreneurs to get into the industry.
NJ Cannabis Insider, the state’s leading B2B cannabis trade publication and events group, is hosting its latest networking event at The Asbury in Asbury Park on July 14 from 6-10 p.m. Tickets are limited, and past events have sold out fast.
McLaughlin & Stern cannabis attorney Mollie Hartman Lustig noted that networking in the cannabis space required a community-driven approach in the midst of a new legal industry that’s still in its infancy.
“The relationships that attorneys build in this space can pay dividends for our clients,” she said. “The real value in successfully networking in this space is being able to forge collaborations for your clients with ease. Building a contact list of trusted partners and affiliates is crucial.”
Hartman Lustig will be part of a 30-minute panel to give tips on how to get the best resources within the cannabis space alongside fellow speakers Stacey Udell, principal at HBK CPAs & Consultants and Matha Figaro, owner of But-A-Cake, a company that specializes in edibles, tinctures and sprays.
The event is presented by Hance Construction, which was recently recognized for Excellence in Commercial Building Operations, by NJ Cannabis Insider subscribers at its inaugural awards gala.
NJ Cannabis Insider networking events sell out fast because the state’s most motivated and connected insiders have come to rely on these meetups to help them build and grow their operations.
